Privacy Policy

CoveredTower is operated by Hightower Operating Group LLC. We collect information needed to provide business operations services, administer accounts, process payments, communicate with clients, secure the service, and improve CoveredTower.

Information we may process

Account and contact information, client business information, leads and appointment data supplied through connected workflows, billing metadata from payment providers, service activity, and technical logs.

How we use information

To provide and secure the service, perform requested workflows, communicate about accounts and billing, maintain records, comply with law, and improve product reliability.

Google account data

If a client connects a Google account, CoveredTower requests two permissions: to send email from that account, and to view (not change) calendar events. We use them only to send messages the client has approved, and to read upcoming appointments so reminders can be drafted for the client's approval. We do not read the client's inbox. To draft a reminder, an appointment's time, title and guest name are processed by our AI service provider for that purpose only. Google data is not used for advertising, is not sold, is not used to develop or train generalized AI or machine-learning models, and is not shared except as needed to provide these features, for security, or as required by law. CoveredTower's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access tokens are encrypted at rest, and a client can disconnect at any time from their portal or from their Google account settings, which stops all access.

Service providers

CoveredTower may use service providers for hosting, authentication, payments, communications, analytics, and workflow integrations. Payment card information is handled by the payment provider and is not stored directly by CoveredTower.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers acting for us, when directed by a client, or when required by law.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, contractual obligations, security, and legal requirements. No system can guarantee absolute security.
